SpheriTide® Aq-M polymeric microspheres for solid-phase synthesis are composed of poly-ε-lysine cross-linked with a bis-carboxy PEG. These macroporous beads feature a peptidic polymer backbone, providing an optimal environment for peptide assembly via solid-phase chemistry. The macroporosity of the beads enhances solvent accessibility and facilitates efficient reagent diffusion, leading to improved reaction kinetics and more consistent peptide synthesis. This results in a quasi-homogeneous peptide-gel network, supporting high-quality and reproducible peptide production.
